Implications of Carbon Regulation for Green Power Markets, prepared by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, assesses the extent to which GHG benefits motivate consumers to make voluntary renewable energy purchases, the potential impacts of carbon regulation on future renewable energy purchases, and how carbon regulation programs in the Northeast and California affect renewable energy markets in these regions. This report also explores policies to enable carbon markets and voluntary renewable energy markets to work together.
