Citizens Energy has worked closely with hundreds of Native American nations and tribes to provide free home heating oil and generate renewable energy projects that help foster job creation and additional revenues.

Last winter, Citizens Energy, in partnership with CITGO Petroleum, helped provide energy assistance to more than 60,000 households in 250 Native American tribal communities.  The value of this assistance approached $20 million.

This heating assistance served Native American tribal communities in Alaska, Arizona, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New York, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington, and Wisconsin.
