The Citizens Energy/CITGO Buildings Program provides grants to qualified low-income large-scale apartment buildings to purchase heating oil and retrofit buildings to improve their energy efficiency.  Last year, we provided more than 4 million gallons of heating oil to almost 850 low-income buildings, reaching more than 50,000 households.

The Oil Heat Building Program reached multi-tenant buildings in New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland that provide affordable housing to low-income families. The program benefits buildings and tenants by providing free heating oil and capital for energy efficiency building improvements.
